Ways to Pay for This

Money is why most people wait, and waiting is what makes it cost more. Here is every route we know of.

Phase It Across Months

The option almost nobody thinks of, and often the best one.

Nothing requires a house to be emptied in a single week. We can clear the safety-critical rooms now, return in two months, and finish later in the year. Each phase is quoted and paid on its own, and you can stop after any of them.

Very often the first phase costs a third of the total and removes eighty percent of the actual danger.

Payment Plans

We can arrange financing on larger jobs. The application takes a few minutes and nobody else has to inspect the house. Ask when you call and we will explain what it actually costs, because a plan somebody did not understand is not help.

Insurance

Check before assuming there is nothing. Homeowners policies sometimes cover a portion, particularly where there was a death in the property, water damage, a sewage backup, or a covered event hidden under the clutter.

Landlords should look at their policy too. We provide the documentation an adjuster will ask for.

Splitting It Between Family

Extremely common, and worth saying out loud rather than everyone assuming somebody else will handle it. Siblings dividing a cleanout is how a great many of these get paid for. We can invoice separately so nobody is collecting money from their own family, and we can take payment from someone who does not own the house. See gift certificates.

Getting Money Back Out Of It

Auction and appraisal. On a ranch or rural property this is not trivial. Equipment, tools, tack and vehicles can offset a real share of the cost. We will hold anything you want valued first.

Donations, with itemised receipts in your name, which may matter at tax time.

Scrap metal, where there is enough to be worth the trip.

Public And Community Routes

Turquoise Care is unlikely to fund a cleanout directly, and we explain why on our Medicaid page. But veterans’ benefits, Area Agency on Aging discretionary funds, tribal elder programmes and Community Action agencies are all worth a call before anybody concludes there is nothing.

What We Will Not Do

Take a large deposit before seeing the property. Quote low and revise it upward once the crew is inside. Or push a bigger scope than somebody actually needs, which in this trade is the easiest money there is and we are not interested in it.
